Since Brexit, the law has substantially changed for EEA and Swiss nationals. If you are an EEA national and have been living and working in the UK by 31 December 2020, you must apply for EU Settlement Scheme. If you are a close family member of an EEA national who has been living and working in the UK by 31 December 2020, and your relationship with EEA national existed on or before 31 December 2020, you may be eligible to apply for EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit. If you are an EEA or Swiss national and wish to come and live in the UK, you may require a work permit.
